FAMU will observe Fire Prevention Week from October 4 through October 8.
Stations will be set up around campus where individuals may have the
opportunity to learn more about fire safety. Fire trucks, police
vehicles and emergency medical services (EMS) will be on-hand for
viewing and demonstrations on October 6 and October 8 at the New
Beginnings childcare facility from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1 p.m.

Captain Sally Davis of the EMS Department, State Fire Marshall Johnny
Walker and the Tallahassee Fire Department will participate in the

"Smoke Alarms: A Sound You Can Live With!," FAMU has scheduled fire
drills to take place in the residence halls, at FAMU Developmental
Research School and New Beginnings.
