What:   A press conference has been scheduled to announce a grant the university has received that         will provide an economic boost to the community and provide training and computer access.  

When:   Today, October 6, at 10:30 a.m.

  Where:  M.S. Thomas Industrial Arts Laboratory         1600 Wahnish Way

Who:    Congressman Allen Boyd, Florida’s 2nd District               
        President James H. Ammons         Mr. Robert Seniors, vice president for the Division of Enterprise   
          Information Technology         Dr. Cynthia Hughes Harris, provost and vice president for Academic  
          Affairs

Why:    This center will help build a trained workforce for Tallahassee and the region.
